An alum of the SPCA, we got Lily when her young owners gave her up because they all went overseas. Because of this, we’d sometimes tease and call her a ‘third-hand cat“. And strangely, she always knew that we were making fun of her, and she would hiss before stalking off.

If she could talk, she’d most like say, ‘fuck off c_nt!”
