Susan Orlean called her a jerk. Joyce Carol Oates (lady, why are you still using X???) called her out for showing “haughty superiority” and using the “crude language of MAGA folks”.
And I think they’re both right. What is wrong with her?? All that education doesn’t really make you empathic does it? While the world burns, she doubles down on her work of being faithful to a man who has been dead for nearly 3,000 years, instead of joining the living and fighting the good fight.
I guess it’s a personal choice so it’s fine, but then why trash someone who does and who has been in your corner? (Nolan).
What a waste. And who really wants to read another translation?? You can shove that up yours lady and I hope Elon Musk creates a really smart translator AI that puts you out of your job.
